Zazenkai Day Sesshin (Copy)

ZAZENKAI (Day of Zen)

Zazenkai is a half-day retreat for practitioners to deepen their practice of Zen. The first bell rings at 12:30 pm so please arrive early to get settled on your cushion or chair. We have cushions but you may bring your own. There are extended periods of Zazen sitting meditation, chanting, walking meditation, tea breaks, dharma talk and time for one-one-one instruction with a Teacher. Offerings of snacks or fruits are appreciated. For General information about Zen Retreats go here.

Time: 12:30-5:30 pm. Please arrive in time to find your seat for the first bell at 12:30 pm.

Place: Aspen Hill Library, downstairs meeting room, 4407 Aspen Hill Road, Rockville, MD 20853. On a bus line.

Newcomers are welcome and may attend for the first part for orientation and instruction. Contact us for information.

The retreat is free and we welcome all. Please let us know if you can come early to help set up.

Donations are gratefully accepted to help rent this Zendo space or for gratitude for the Teacher.
